Went to see Deja-Vu rock the house on Saturday and had a blast. Theses guys put on a very entertaining and keep me smiling all night . Keep them on your schedule and come out and check them out at 50/50, the best venue in town.

I like the place and the people but the food and drinks were way to expensive... I know it's in Alamo Heights but that doesnt mean you have to pay an arm and legg to have a good time. We may go back when one of us wins the loto, just kidding!

I do not believe in ever giving out a perfect 10 to any place, but this is the first bar in San Antonio that I would if I could. I attend UIW and the 5050 always sponsers or donates to many of our fund raisers and sports. My friends at Trinity say the same thing. Band selection is awesome and Pint Night rocks! Oh, I have personally met this Diamond Dan guy, and yes he is real. UIW rocks; go Seniors!
Talk about remodeling! If you still remember Broadway 5050 as an old diner, then it's time to check it out. 5050 still serves well-cooked, well-portioned food but they now host local talent as well... everything from modern rock to jazz.
The Bad :
Parking can be tricky on busy nights...just watch out for neighboring business signs....the Alamo Heights PD are never far behind. 5050 is pretty small, so bands can be pretty loud for the average listener...but their taste in music beats most bars in town so...what're ya gonna do?
Bottom Line :
The specials rock, staff rocks, the place rocks...check it out.
