Hmmm, where to start... this place is nice if you are looking to hang out with posers and wanabes'. The drink prices were out ragious, $8.75 for a drink is more than tittiy bar prices... come on now we are in San Antonio not NY or LA. I can see why this place was empty on a Thursday night and down the streeet at Chicago it was packed. I would seriously re-consider this place unless you just cashed your paycheck and intend on spending the rent money to get your drink on. When I hear Drink Special I will bless Dolce with my presence again.

I moved here from Los Angeles and have been to all the "it" clubs there (hyde, privilege,tropicana)
Dolce is the only place that comes close to a real lounge here in san antonio. If you haven't lived in a major city, your comments are meaningless.

the atmosphere is nice, lighting, seating etc. however the trance music being played is so 1990's. I don't know why people in San Antonio still listen to that garbage still. For a ritzy lounge like that you need to be playing more LOUNGE style music, not cokehead trance garbage you can hear at Antro or Planeta. Appropriate music for the setting would only be DEEP HOUSE music. Any other style of music is going to f*ck up that atmosphere and introduce the cheeseball cokehead crowd from other SA clubs. SA has enough cheesebag clubs and "lounges" that they like to call them playing garbage trance/car commercial sounding music. We do not need another one. Be different, be unique.

bad service, over priced, and just another over priced lounge(dusk-r.i.p. & the pointe, suede, zen bar, cielo, loft) all hype and no content. san antonio isn't ready for a real lounge!
